Tucson Blackbirds RFC

2011 marked the inaugural year of the Tucson Magpies U19 Team, The Blackbirds. Led by head coach Tim Pappas, created one of the top youth programs in Arizona. The U19 program is a great way to get kids into the game early and ensure their future success as a Magpie.

Led by head coach Aaron Abrego and assistant coaches Matt Evans and Adam Fernandez, the Blackbirds paired with the Phoenix Firebirds to share the Division 2 AZ State Crown in 2022. That makes the Tucson Blackbirds BACK-TO-BACK Champions! 

Tucson Blackbirds: Always recruiting! No experience necessary! Seven’s season starts in the fall. Fifteens start in January.
