Old Pueblo Lightning Rugby Football Club

Old Pueblo Lightning Rugby Football Club is Tucson’s competitive and gender-inclusive senior rugby team. Since 1989, we've brought hard-hitting play and strong community spirit to the pitch, competing in Division II of the Southwest Rugby Union under USA Rugby—and showing up strong in social 7s, 10s, and 15s tournaments throughout the year.

We are part of Old Pueblo Rugby Football Club, established in 1975, and are currently pursuing membership with International Gay Rugby (IGR). Our team is committed to building a welcoming, affirming space for cis and trans women, nonbinary, transmasculine, and other gender-diverse athletes. Whether you're brand new to rugby or a seasoned player, there's a place for you in our vibrant and inclusive community—on and off the pitch.
